After School Activities
Spring 2026
Merdinian students may participate in a variety of after-school programs offered on campus. Students can register for a wide range of activities, allowing them to develop creativity, pursue personal interests, explore new passions, and build new skills.
For athletics programs, registration includes the KAHAM participation fee. Attendance at games is required as part of the student’s commitment to the team.
Please note that after-school activities and extended care will not be offered on January 8th and 9th. Programs begin the week of January 12, and all families must submit new registrations, even for students who were enrolled in the fall.
The registration deadline is January 12, 2026. Families may cancel their child’s participation in any activity for a full refund through January 16, 2026. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable.
Athletics:
Sports programs play a critical role in developing team chemistry by encouraging cooperation, discipline, and shared goals, all of which contribute to competitive success. In addition, participation in sports supports students’ overall development by promoting physical health, mental resilience, time management, and leadership skills. These qualities extend beyond athletics, positively influencing academic performance, personal growth, and long-term success.
To cancel your child(ren)’s participation in a sports program, please email [email protected] no later than January 16, 2026. Cancellations submitted after this date are non-refundable.

They operate on an as-needed attendance model, meaning families may choose to use them whenever necessary. Each session attended will be billed based on usage and will appear on the following month’s tuition statement. Because these programs do not require a season-long commitment, families may register at any time, even later in the school year, as needs arise.
