Summer Reading List
Summer Reading
Grades K-5
2024-2025 Academic Year
To foster a love for reading and promote intellectual growth, the administration and school faculty encourage our students to keep up with their reading activities during summer vacation. Frequent reading correlates with improved vocabulary, writing skills, and test scores. To help with this encouragement, we have created grade-level-appropriate reading assignments.

Summer Reading

This year, we have included a list of recommended books for each grade level in addition to the required reading lists. Each student should pick ONE of the recommended books to read besides the required novel. Students will complete assignments and assessments for the required reading during the first weeks of classes.
Furthermore, students must complete the incoming grade-level Summer Bridge Workbook. The workbook can be purchased by clicking the link and purchasing the appropriate grade-level workbook.
