Admission Process
The admissions process for the 2025-2026 school year begins on January 13, 2025. Our online admissions application is hosted by the Enrollment Management System (EMS) by Blackbaud.
All New Families
We are pleased to inform you that Merdinian caters to students ages three through 8th grade. Children entering Preschool must be three by September 1 of the academic year. Preschool children must be fully potty trained for school entry.
1. Application:
Submit the online application and fee through the EMS account. Please note that once all required documents have been submitted, you can proceed to the second part of the process. Submitting the application does not guarantee enrollment for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

2. Student Visit/Assessment:
Once your completed application has been submitted, parents and guardians will be able to schedule a time for a visit. Students enrolling in 2nd to 8th grade must also take an Assessment for Language Arts and Math.
3. Interview:
The applicant interview is an essential opportunity for us to learn more about your child’s interests and for them to learn more about Merdinian. Once your application is processed, an interview will be scheduled for the parent and the student(s).

Required Documents for New Students

- Authorization to Treat a Minor
- Emergency Release Form
- CDSS Information for Childcare Centers (Preschool only)
- Physician’s Report
- Report of Health Examination for School Entry (Kindergarten Only)
- A copy of your child’s birth certificate
- Immunization records: Students entering Preschool must have 3 doses of polio vaccine, 4 doses of DTP, 1 dose of MMR, 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine, 1 dose of Hib vaccine, and 1 dose of Chickenpox vaccine.

- Student Transcripts (incoming 2nd-8th Grade)
Please note that New students seats aren't guaranteed until after priority registration. Seats vary by classes.
Important Dates for Registration
- Priority Registration: January 13 - February 7, 2025
- Standard Registration: February 8 - March 14, 2025
- Late Registration: March 15, 2025 (space/enrollment not guaranteed)
